Sinema attends food bank to help Arizona families
YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Hot off the heels of her party change announcement, Arizona Senator Kyrsten Sinema volunteered to assemble emergency food boxes.
Teaming with the United Food Bank, Sinema and other volunteers filled boxes to feed Arizona families in need for the holiday season.
“The spirit of service is strong in Arizona thanks in large part to the extraordinary efforts of nonprofits like United Food Bank...I’m grateful for United Food Bank’s commitment to supporting Arizona families, seniors, veterans, tribal communities, and our entire state through their service,” said Sinema.
In addition, Sinema volunteers each year during the holiday season to bring attention to the work of local nonprofits.
Not only that, Sinema encourages all Arizonans to help whenever they are available.
