YUHSD to hold registration days for new and returning students
YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The Yuma Union High School District (YUHSD) will hold registration days for students.
In a press release, YUHSD will divide the days by cohort and each school site. The registration days and times for each cohort are the following:
- Monday, July 24 - Seniors (Cohort 2024)
- 12:00pm-3:00pm: Last names A-L
- 3:00pm-6:00pm: Last names M-Z
- Tuesday, July 25 - Juniors (Cohort 2025)
- 12:00pm-3:00pm: Last names A-L
- 3:00pm-6:00pm: Last names M-Z
- Thursday, July 27 - Sophomores (Cohort 2026)
- 12:00pm-3:00pm: Last names A-L
- 3:00pm-6:00pm: Last names M-Z
- Friday, July 28 - Freshmen (Cohort 2027)
- 12:00pm-3:00pm: Last names A-L
- 3:00pm-6:00pm: Last names M-Z
While Vista High School will conduct registration for all students in all grades for the above times, the press release says that Somerton High School will open this school year with freshmen only. They will conduct registration on Friday, July 28 from noon to 6:00pm.
The first day of school will take place on Thursday, August 3. Cibola, Gila Ridge, Kofa, Somerton, and Yuma High Schools will start classes at 7:40am. San Luis High School will start classes at 7:30am, and Vista High School will start classes at 8:30am.
