Graduates can choose up to four people to attend the ceremony

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - It's been more than a year since the pandemic began but an exciting day is just around the corner for some students.

With graduation just around the corner, the Yuma Union High School District allows four guests per student during commencement ceremonies for the class of 2021. Graduates for all comprehensive schools are scheduled to graduate Friday, May 21, 2021, at 8 p.m.

Vista High School's graduation is on Wednesday, May 19, at 7 p.m. in the Performing Arts Auditorium on the Gila Ridge High School campus.

YUHSD said graduates will choose their four guests in advance online. They will be required to check in at the gate and fill out a COVID-19 waiver.

The district will livestream all six ceremonies on it's Facebook page.
