Major AWS outage disrupts websites around the world

(CNN, KYMA) - Hundreds of online services and platforms are getting back up and running after a widespread outage early monday.

Services affected include Venmo, Snapchat, Facebook, Prime Video and Amazon's Cloud Computing, according to DownDetector.com.

Some airlines, including Delta and United, also reported disruptions for some of their systems.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) said Monday it had issues with its Cloud Service operations. It said the outage lasted three hours and included entertainment and gaming websites.
