Exceptional Community Hospital to host free CPR and First-Aid Training

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Exceptional Community Hospital is offering a free CPR and first aid training class.

The event will teach young children and families the proper techniques and steps to perform CPR.

It will also teach young children how to dial 911 and what to do until help can come.

They will be providing the participants with a free first-aid kit and teaching them how to use them.

"Kids during the summer and their parents, some of them may be babysitters, it's never too early to understand the signs and to look for when you do need to offer cpr. But it isn't just for kids. This is for parents as well," says Lisa Bruzeel with Exceptional Community Hospital.

The event will take place at the Children's Museum in Downtown Yuma at 9 a.m. on Sunday.

The event is for all ages and is free to attend.
