Dinsmore, Polston depart Hospital District board as new members are sworn in

The five-member board manages the lease on the land the community hospital YRMC is built on

YUMA, Ariz. (KECY, KYMA) - On Wednesday two members finished their terms on Yuma's Hospital District Board One.

Rick Dinsmore stepped down from the board after serving for over two decades.

Former Chairman Jeffrey Polston presented him with a plaque for his service to the community.

Three members were sworn in.

Ron Clark and Frances Davison becoming new members of the Hospital District Board One.

Then Dr. Jeremy Curry who was appointed to a new term was also voted to be the new permanent Chairman unanimously by his fellow board members.

The board's purpose is to manage the lease of the land Yuma Regional Medical Center is built on, as it aims to ensure sure the hospital operates in the best interest of the community.
