Caballeros De Yuma present the 2022 Yuma Territorial Marathon

The philanthropic group set to host its marathon/half marathon on January 29

SOMERTON, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Pre-Pandemic, avid runners had a wide variety of qualifiers for the big races like the Boston Marathon. But, the pandemic has kept their running shoes lying in wait.

Fortunate for them the Caballeros De Yuma have announced its annual Yuma Territorial Marathon is now accepting registrations.

The Caballeros are offering its marathon, as well as a half-marathon and even a 10k run. The marathon will be a qualifier for the 126th Boston Marathon set for April 18, 2022.

The Yuma Territorial Marathon will start at the Cocopah Casino located in the City of Somerton's Mesa. Registration is open and will be until just before the race starts.

The Caballeros De Yuma is a philanthropic group made up of local business owners devoted to enriching the lives of those living in their community. Proceeds from the marathon will go to help fund a variety of Caballeros De Yuma charitable programs.
