Arizona health director wants to talk to Yuma County about shots

Dr. Cara Christ to hold tele-town hall Wednesday to encourage vaccination

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - If you live in Yuma County, and you still haven't gotten your coronavirus vaccine, the Director of the Arizona Department of Health Services would like to have a talk with you.

Dr. Cara Christ will hold a tele-town hall Wednesday evening to specifically talk to those living in parts of the county with low vaccination rates. Some participants will be randomly selected by robo-call, but ADHS also wants to extend an invitation to people all across the county.

The town hall starts at 6:30 p.m. Those interested can take part by calling (855) 756-7520, the use extension 73028 and the pound sign (#).
