Retailers open their doors nationwide for Black Friday

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA) - Doors are open across the country for Black Friday.

About 187 million people are expected to shop for the weekend in the nation.

CBS News reports that shoppers are expected to spend about $890 each on gifts, decoration and food this holiday season, which is slightly lower compared to last year.

Retailers are trying to balance how much a consumer is willing to spend, while also managing their own costs.

Deals are available on electronics, appliances and TVs.

Certain apps like Rakuten, Shopback and Ibotta offer cash back and discounts.
