McDonald’s shakes up it drink menu

(NBC, KYMA) - McDonald's is rolling out a new line of specialty beverages starting May 6, aiming to compete with the growing drink market.

The launch includes six crafted options, featuring refreshers like Mango Pineapple with strawberry boba and Blackberry Passion Fruit with freeze-dried dragon fruit.

The menu also introduces new soda creations, including a "Dirty" Dr. Pepper blended with vanilla and topped with cold foam.

In addition, the move puts McDonald's in closer competition with chains like KFC and Wendy's, as well as coffee giant Starbucks, all working to attract customers with expanded and more creative beverage offerings.
