More than two million pounds of pork jerky recalled

(NBC, KYMA) - LSI Inc. has recalled more than two million pounds of it pork jerky that was shipped to Costco and Sam's Clubs nationwide.

The recall was prompted when pieces of metal were found inside some of the packages. The metal believed to have come from a conveyor belt in the company's factory. No injuries have been reported from the metal.

The recalled products include 14.5 oz and 16 oz plastic pouches labeled "Golden Island Fire-Grilled Pork Jerky Korean Barbecue Recipe."

Establishment number "M279A" will be listed inside the USDA mark of inspection on products subject to the recall.

Consumers are advised to throw the packages away or return them to the place of purchase.
