(NBC, KYMA) - Your DoorDash delivery drivers could be looking a bit different soon as the company launched an autonomous delivery robot known as "Dot" for food and grocery orders.

The delivery robot can reach speeds of 20 miles per hour navigating busy streets, sidewalks, and parking lots.

Dot can carry up to 30 pounds of items, equipped with cameras inside and out to ensure a safe ride and quality items.
