Oreo and Reese’s team up to launch two new products
(CNN, KYMA/KECY) - Oreo and Reese's are rolling out two new treats that combine flavors from both snacks, and their companies are hoping the sweets will boost declining sales.
The sweet collaboration is a rare partnership between two brands owned by different companies.
Oreo is owned by Mondelēz International, and Reese's is part of the Hershey Company.
One of the new creations is a revamped version of a 2014 cookie that used Reese's peanut butter. The new version has Oreo cookie crumbs in the filling.
The other new snack is a Reese's Oreo Cup. It replaces the chocolate on a Reese's cup with Oreo's milk chocolate and white creme, and is filled with peanut butter and Oreo cookie crumbs.
Both will be available starting in September.
