New survey shows how long each American is spending online each day

(NBC, KYMA/KECY) - How much time do you spend online each day? If you're like most Americans, it comes to more than ten hours a day, according to a new survey by Optimum.

That time includes a combo of a little more than five hours of web activities like gaming, browsing the web, and paying bills.

Then, Americans spend another five hours streaming shows or movies. However, 55% say the TV is still their preferred device when it comes to streaming.
