PF Chang’s relaunches loyalty program, opens up tier system
(KYMA, KECY/ CNN) - The 21st Century subscription trend continues to carry on and now the roads lead to subscription Chinese food - courtesy of PF Chang's.
First it was streaming services, and then Taco Bell's "Taco Lover's Pass" earlier this year.
Now, lovers of PF Chang's Chinese food will once again be credited and rewarded for their customer loyalty.
The popular restaurant chain is re-launching its seven-year-old loyalty program to include a paid tier.
For $6.99 per month, members of the chain's platinum rewards program will earn 15 points for each dollar spent. It is redeemable for a $15 credit once 2,000 points are accumulated.
Other platinum member perks include being eligible for unlimited free delivery and access to priority reservations.
The existing loyalty program's free tier will be renamed "Gold" and offer fewer benefits.
Other big name chains that have jumped on the subscription bandwagon recently include Subway and Panera Bread.
