The retail giant plans to hire 150,000 new associates

(KYMA, KECY/CNN) - Walmart is set to hire 150,000 workers ahead of the holidays.

The U.S. retail giant plans to hire for permanent, full-time positions.

Walmart has increased their hourly wage to $16.00.
