Microsoft lays off more employees from its video game division

(NBC, KYMA) - More layoffs are coming in Microsoft's video game division.

XBOX said it is cutting more than 260 jobs across Halo Studios, other first-party studios and the XBOX Games Studio management team.

The company first announced layoffs in July, with plans to eliminate more than 3,200 jobs in total.

That's not the only news for gamers as XBOX said the next "Halo" game will be made by Activision, which is the studio behind the "Call of Duty" franchise.
