Chipotle to open more locations in 2025
(CNN, KYMA/KECY) - Chipotle is planning on expanding its footprint both in the United States and in Canada this year.
The Mexican Grill restaurant says that it's opening more than 300 new locations this year.
15 to 20 of those stores will be opened in Canada, and 80% of those stores will include a drive-thru.
Chipotle says that 57 company owned restaurants have already opened during the first quarter of 2025.
In its fourth quarter earnings, the company reported a total revenue of more than $11 billion in 2024, increase of almost 15% from 2023.
