YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - After the acquisition of Almark last year Michael Foods began its transition. On April 21, Michale Foods invited the public to its Yuma facility for the official ribbon-cutting.

During its event the plant allowed the public to take guided tours and even received free samples. According to the Plant's General Manager Alberto Jaemez the transition phase was flawless and both he and the rest of the staff are happy with the acquisition.

Michael Foods is a subsidiary of the Post Consumer Brands which has been around since the late 1800s. The Michael Foods plant in Yuma produces hard-boiled eggs, millions of them.

Their eggs are then shipped globally and used in a variety of ways including salads. The company also offers its products via its website.
