According to Lea Soto-Graham many job-seekers start the year off strong, but become disillussioned

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The new year means a fresh start for many job-seekers who set aside their search during the holidays. According to Lea Soto-Graham with the Goodwill Career Center of Yuma, many job hunters tend to lose steam as time passes.

That's why Soto-Graham says you have to remain vigilant and focused. First and foremost, Soto-Graham says people should have a clear direction of where they want to end up at. Secondly, she adds that detailed notes on which jobs you've applied for and who you've spoken to will help you advance.

Those looking to fine-tune their efforts can reach out to the career specialist at the Goodwill by way of visiting their local Goodwill Career Center or visiting them online. Goodwill offers a variety of tools to help update someone's resume and help them prepare for an upcoming interview.
