YUMA COUNTY, Ariz. (KYMA) - Gov. Katie Hobbs (D-Ariz.) is visiting Yuma County to focus on workforce training and affordable housing.

According to her office, Gov. Hobbs will visit the Arizona Western College Future48 Workforce Accelerator in Wellton.

The facility supports hands-on training in electrical technology, manufacturing, internet fiber and solar energy where programs are designed to match local employers needs so people can train for real jobs in the area.

She previously attended the ribbon-cutting and groundbreaking ceremony of the facility in May of this year.

Following this, the governor will also stop at Vistara Apartments to highlight affordable housing in Yuma.
