Chairperson Peggy Price served with another recall notice

IMPERIAL COUNTY, Calif. (KYMA) - Imperial County Board of Supervisors Chairperson Peggy Price has been served with another recall notice.

Chairperson Price was served this week at the board meeting during public comments.

Among the reasons listed were delayed storm response for residents, the shuttering of Fire Station 6, the inability to secure funding for the airport, and "lack of oversight in the proposed building of the massive AI data center."

"I'm here today on behalf of the residents of Supervisorial District 3, pursuant to Section 11.020 of the California Elections Code to offer this notice of intention to seek the recall and removal from office of Imperial County Supervisor for District 3, Mrs. Peggy Price," said Darrell Pechtl, an Imperial County resident.

Price has seven days to file an answer to the notice.
