Conversations with Council is a bimonthly meeting where residents can engage with elected officials to talk about upcoming projects within the city, raise concerns and other topics.

"At the end of the day, we're here to serve the community. And if we're not available to them and we're not listening to their concerns or their suggestions, it just creates an environment where you don't know who you're serving or what you're serving for," said Council member Cabrera. "So I think these very important across all the county to ensure that we are listening to the voices of the people that we represent."

The meeting lasted until 10 a.m. If anyone wants to attend the next meeting, happening August 1, click here.
