FBI serves search warrant at Beverly Hills home tied to former Rep. Eric Swalwell

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. (NBC, KYMA) - Two law enforcement sources told NBC News the FBI executed a search warrant Tuesday morning related to its ongoing case against former Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA).

Footage captured by KNBC shows several agents coming and going from the Beverly Hills home where former Rep. Swalwell had been a guest of the billionaire backer behind his run for governor over the summer.

The backer dropped Swalwell after he dropped out of the race and resigned from Congress amid sexual assault accusations, which the former congressman has denied.

In August, the FBI searched Swalwell's Washington, D.C. residence and stopped him at the San Francisco Airport, seizing the electronics on his person.

Both of the incidents are related to an investigation into those sexual misconduct allegations against the former lawmaker, according to an official familiar with the matter.
