Protests continue in Washington D.C. over National Guard deployment
WASHINGTON (KYMA, KECY/CBS) - Protestors were outside D.C. police headquarters to continue their rally against the law enforcement takeover of the nation's capital.
The "Free DC" rally had people holding signs and chanting to get the National Guard out of D.C.
Other topics were mentioned such as not cutting healthcare.
D.C. Attorney Brian Schwalb claimed President Trump exceeded his authority regarding D.C.'s Home Rule Act. Schawlb has since filed a lawsuit.
