Elon Musk criticizes Senate’s version of President Trump’s ‘big, beautiful bill’

(CNN, KYMA/KECY) - Elon Musk is once again criticizing President Donald Trump's domestic spending bill.

The Senate is now considering the legislation and has made some changes to the House bill.

On Saturday, Musk posted to X saying the Senate bill will "destroy millions of jobs in America and cause immense strategic harm to our country."

He said the bill gives handouts to industries of the past while severely damaging industries of the future.

Musk's comments come just as the Senate is set to vote on whether to advance the bill.

This is the second time Musk has criticized what President Trump has dubbed his "big, beautiful bill." He also criticized it when the House was considering the legislation.

So far, no comment from the president or Republican leaders.
