ABC News

(KYMA, KECY) - Lawmakers across the country are sharing their reaction to Iran launching a retaliatory strike on U.S. bases in Qatar.

This comes two days after the U.S. attacked three Iranian nuclear facilities, which was part of Operation Midnight Hammer.

President Donald Trump posted to Truth Social saying, "Iran has officially responded to our Obliteration of their Nuclear Facilities with a very weak response, which we expected, and have very effectively countered."

"I am pleased to report that NO Americans were harmed, and hardly any damage was done," President Trump said.

Senator Ruben Gallego (D-Ariz.) posted to X saying, "God bless and protect our men and women on these bases."

Senator Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) also posted to X saying, "As Iran attacks our bases in the Middle East, I’m praying that our brave service members in Qatar, Iraq and elsewhere stay safe."

Other lawmakers across the country shared their reaction to the attack:
