U.S. House of Representatives votes on changing Medicaid and taxes
(CNN, KYMA/KECY) - A bill that changes Medicaid and extends to trillions of dollars in tax cuts is now over a key hurdle after the House Budget Committee passed it after a rare Sunday night vote.
It's all part of a Republican effort to get this measure off of the floor this week.
Now, House Speaker Mike Johnson is trying to get GOP moderates and fiscal hawks to all come together.

The program will provide health coverage for children, seniors, people with disabilities, parents and adults without dependents.
