President Trump’s approval rating drops in latest survey

(CNN, KYMA/KECY) - President Donald Trump's approval rating at 100 days in office is lower than any other president in the last 70 years.

New polling shows that his approval rating has fallen to 41%. Support from women and Hispanic Americans have dropped seven points each, landing at 36% for women and 28% among Hispanics.

The poll reported a 35% approval rating on the handling on inflation. Approval on tariffs themselves is down four points to 35%.

Trump's marks for handling the economy are down five points to a career low of 39% among political independents.

Trump earned narrowly positive ratings on one key issue tested in this poll, his handling on the issues related to gender identity and trans people. Overall, 51% of the people approved handling of this matter.
