Former President Trump heads to Florida ahead of arraignment

BEDMINSTER, N.J. (NBC, KYMA/KECY) - Former President Donald Trump is on his way to Miami, Florida to be arraigned.

Trump isn't set to appear in federal court until Tuesday. He traveled from his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey to Newark Monday.

The former president wrote on his Truth Social platform that he is headed to Doral, Florida first.

Following the arraignment, Trump is scheduled to deliver remarks back in New Jersey later Tuesday night.
