LOS ANGELES, Calif. (KYMA/KSWT/KECY) - The Democratic Debate will go on as planned on Thursday at Loyola Marymount University after food service workers reached an agreement with their employer company, Sodexo.

California union "Unite Here 11" and the employer came to a 3-year contract agreement to increase pay and cut health care costs.

The union said its workers would not show up to work if a tentative contract wasn't agreed on.

All 7 candidates vowed not to cross the picket lines if an agreement wasn't reached by the day of the debate.

Senator Elizabeth Warren was one of the first candidates to openly vow her support for the workers and not attend the debate if no contract was agreed upon by the date of the debate.
