Arizona Gov. Katie Hobbs delivers State of the State Address

PHOENIX (KYMA) - Gov. Katie Hobbs (D-Ariz.) laid out her priorities for 2026 in her annual State of the State Address Monday.

Gov. Hobbs highlighted what she calls "one of the largest tax cuts in Arizona history," aimed at providing relief for middle-class families.

She also proposed a visitation fee for tourists, requiring data centers to pay for the water they use, and increased support for public education.

Hobbs says affordability is at the top of her agenda.

"Affordability is my top priority and I'm encouraged that it's yours as well. Now, it's time to back up that talk. Put that middle class tax cut package on my desk immediately. I'll sign it," she expressed.
