Five Democratic candidates for Arizona Congressional District 7 participate in debate

TUCSON, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Five Democratic candidates running to represent Arizona in our nation's capitol in Congress are participating in a debate Tuesday night.

The Democratic candidates are Daniel Hernandez, Adelita Grijalva, Deja Foxx, Patrick Harris and Jose Malvido.

All five candidates are running for the seat left vacant by the late Congressman Raul Grijalva.

This is the second of two debates being held in Tucson. The other debate was for the Republican candidates, which took place Monday night.

The Special Election is taking place Tuesday, July 15. The winner will serve Arizona's 7th Congressional District, including parts of Yuma, Somerton and San Luis.
