Supplemental ballots issued for qualified write-in candidates
IMPERIAL COUNTY, Calif. (KYMA, KECY) - Last week, Imperial County election officials notified the voting public that candidates running for Imperial City Clerk were not on the ballot.
However, to allow voters the opportunity to vote for a qualified write-in candidate, supplemental ballots will be sent to all registered voters next week.
Moreover, the supplemental ballots will be for the Imperial City Clerk contest only.
In addition, election officials advise voters to not discard or disregard their original vote-by-mail ballot for the November 8 General Election.
As always, election officials are advising voters to submit their vote-by-mail ballots before Election Day.
Voters can drop off their ballots at the Ballot Drop Boxes, at the post office, or at any poll site on Election Day
Additionally, voters can vote in-person on the November 8 election.
