Candidates courting voters ahead of Wednesday' debate and Saturday's caucuses - NBC News' Susan McGinnis reports

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (KYMA, KECY/NBC News) - Democratic contenders have converged on the Silver State for the next round in the battle for the Presidential nomination.

Early voting is now underway in Nevada, and each candidates is working hard to get those ballots into their box.

"2020 is our moment to choose hope over fear" Sen. Elizabeth Warren, (D) Massachussetts, told supporters.

They're touting themselves, while taking aim at President Donald Trump.

"We have got to have the right nominee. .someone who can pull in a broad coalition.. someone who can challenge the president on his own turf." Pete Buttigieg said at one of his rallies.

Bernie Sanders is currently the candidate to beat.

"Democracy is not billionaires spending to get elected" said Sanders.

Some of the harshest attacks are aimed at a candidate who's notably absent from Nevada and other early states. Still, businessman and former New York mayor Mike Bloomberg is surging in the polls.

"Michael Bloomberg with $62 billion can buy every ad he wants but he can't in fact wipe away his record no everything from dealing with stop and frisk to his foreign policy." said former Vice-President Joe Biden.

Bloomberg's spending hundreds of millions of dollars on television ads, some of them specifically targeting the black vote. But it's still unclear if voters will see him in person at Wednesday night's debate in Las Vegas.

"What's amazing to me is they're all going after someone who's not even on the ballot in Nevada." said political analyst Brenden Buck.

For now Bloomberg's competitors will stay on the trail, and on the hunt, in hopes of becoming Democrat's best change to stop a second Trump term.

KYMA.com will livestream Wednesday night's debate.
