Five ejected from vehicle following crash in Arizona

TEMPE, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Five people were ejected from a vehicle Monday night when it crashed in Arizona.

The crash happened near Rio Salado Parkway and Scottsdale Road in Tempe at around 8:30 p.m. when a Ford Mustang was reportedly racing when it failed to negotiate a turn.

Those involved in the crash have been hospitalized with critical injuries.

According to authorities, a motorcycle involved in the crash returned to the scene.

An investigation is underway.
