Four dead in medical transport plane crash in Arizona
CHINLE, Ariz. (NBC, KYMA/KECY) - Four people were killed Tuesday when a medical transport plane crashed in Chinle, Arizona.
Images provided by the Navajo Police Department show the wreckage of the plane where it crashed, about 200 miles north of Flagstaff.
Two medical personnel and two pilots were on board the plane which is owned by the CSI Aviation Company out of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
The flight was on the way to pick up a patient at the time of the crash.
In a statement, the FAA said the crash happened as the Beechcraft 300 was attempting to land at the Chinle airport.
The cause of the crash is not yet known.
