Authorities investigate small plane crash in Texas

DENTON COUNTY, Texas (NBC, KYMA/KECY) - A small plane crashed just outside the community of Justin, Texas Friday night.

The crash happened around 7:00 p.m. Central at the Propwash Airport, leaving smoke coming from the crash site.

Authorities say a 2019 Saberwing Light Sport Aircraft went down from unknown circumstances.

No details have been shared on how many people were on board the aircraft or the extent of their injuries.

The FAA and several local agencies are involved in the ongoing investigation.
