One person injured in motorcycle crash on 4th Avenue

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The Yuma Police Department (YPD) is on scene of a crash Monday afternoon where one person was injured.

According to a reporter at the scene, the crash happened in the area of 4th Avenue and 25th Street when a motorcycle was traveling southbound on 4th Avenue when it hit the back of a Toyota pickup truck, which was traveling westbound on 25th Street.

Our reporter says the motorcycle rider suffered a broken leg and was taken to Onvida Health while the southbound lane of 4th Avenue remains closed from 24th to 26th Street.
