Motorcycle crash on Avenue B near 8th Street

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - A motorcyclist was injured Wednesday after crashing with another vehicle.

The Yuma Police Department says it happened Wednesday morning around 9 on Avenue B and 8th Street.

Officers say the motorcyclist was pulling out of a private driveway on Avenue B and collided with a Nissan Altima.

The rider walked away with moderate but non-serious injuries.

YPD says thankfully the rider was wearing a helmet and encourages all motorcyclists to wear helmets.

No other injuries were reported.
