Truck catches fire on Interstate 8 in Yuma

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Traffic was slowed Friday morning as a truck caught fire on Interstate 8, near S. Araby Rd. and Milepost 6.

The westbound right lane was blocked around 7:42 a.m.

We reached out to AZ Department of Public Safety (DPS), who said it was a hay trailer on fire, which also started a small brush fire.

No injuries have been reported and the fire is out, according to AZ DPS.
