Crash involving semi-truck on Interstate 8

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Three people were injured in an early morning crash on Interstate 8 involving a semi truck. 

The crash happened around 8 a.m. near the Yuma Foothills by milepost 89.

The semi was struck from behind by a Ford F-150 truck.

Three people in the Ford truck were treated with head injuries including a 12-year-old boy. 

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
