Police say 3 dead, 2 injured in fiery crash in west Phoenix

PHOENIX (AP) - Three people died and two others injured after a fiery car crash in west Phoenix, authorities said Sunday.

The Phoenix Police Department said the crash occurred around 10:00pm Saturday.

Additionally, city firefighters doused the flames in one of the cars.

Phoenix PD say they recovered three bodies, trapped in the burning vehicle.

Furthermore, there were two men in the second car, also involved in the crash.

One traveled to a hospital in critical condition while the other had minor injuries.

According to police, they have yet to identify the victims.

They were also continuing to investigate what led up to the fatal crash.
