Abraham Retana – Videographer

Abraham Retana is a videographer, joining the KYMA team in July 2022.

Abraham was born in Mexicali and raised in Imperial Valley.

He has more than 30 years of experience working in the media business, and for the last 20 years, he has been working as a multimedia journalist.

Abraham has covered important events such as the visits of President George Bush in Yuma and Mexican presidents Vicente Fox and Felipe Calderon in Mexicali.

He has also won four Emmy Awards (2008, 2010, 2012 and 2014) for special feature series.

In his free time, he likes to go to the movies and watch football, ''GO RAIDERS!''
