San Luis Port of Entry expecting delays

SAN LUIS, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - Expect delays at the San Luis Port of Entry as part of the port's expansion project.

Customs and Border Protection said the area formerly known as Friendship Park is currently being cleared in preparation for the San Luis I Port of Entry Modernization and Expansion Project.

Most travel lanes feeding into Mexico should remain accessible but the number of lanes arriving from Mexico may vary.

There might also be other temporary delays, so keep this in mind if you use the San Luis Port of Entry to cross in and out of Mexico.
