Cardinals name Monti Ossenfort as new General Manager
Ossenfort enters with 21 years of NFL experience in personnel and scouting
(KYMA, KECY) - The Arizona Cardinals announced Monday morning that the organization has hired Monti Ossenfort as their new General Manager.
The move comes just weeks after the departure of former General Manager Steve Keim and head coach Kliff Kingsbury.
Ossenfort comes to Arizona with 21 years of NFL experience, including 15 with the New England Patriots and the past three as Director of Player Personnel with the Tennessee Titans.
Over the course of his 15 seasons with New England, Ossenfort served as the Director of College Scouting (2014-19), Assistant Director of College Scouting (2011-13), National Scout (2008-10), Area Scout (2006-07) and a Personnel Assistant (2003).
In that time, New England won four Super Bowl titles and earned seven Super Bowl appearances overall.
Ossenfort is expected to be formally introduced at a press conference Tuesday.
