Tuesday’s Mega Millions drawing did not produce a winner

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. (NBC) - There was no Mega Millions winner in Tuesday night's drawing.

The next drawing is Friday, with an estimated $940 million jackpot.

The overall winning numbers for Tuesday's drawing were 25, 29, 33, 41, and 44, with a Mega Ball of 18.

No ticket matched all six winning numbers. But, six tickets matched the first five numbers, winning the lottery's second-highest prize of $1 million each.

Friday's $940 million jackpot is for a winner who chooses to receive payment through an annuity over 29 years.

However, nearly all winners opt for a cash payout, which for Friday night's drawing would be an estimated $483.5 million.
