Adelmi Ruiz – Anchor / Producer

Adelmi Ysita is an anchor and producer for CBS 13 who joined in December 2022.

Adelmi has dreamt of being a journalist since the age of 8-years-old.

She was a news reporter for the Boyle Heights Beat in Los Angeles during her time in high school where she was recognized for her work by the County of Los Angeles.

She majored in broadcast journalism at San Francisco State University and graduated in May 2022.

Adelmi is also a former competitive figure skater who still enjoys taking time on the ice.

She was a news anchor in high school and college and became the editor-in-chief of her high school newspaper.

Being CBS' 13 On Your Side News Anchor is a dream come true for her and she looks forward to continuing to connect with the KYMA audience.
