Slight rain chances for Thursday with another storm system arriving for the weekend

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY-TV) - During our overnight and early morning, the Desert Southwest experienced some light rain showers where Yuma received some measurable of 0.07".

Going into the rest of the night, more clouds will arrive with cooler temperatures whereas overnight lows will drop into the low 50s and mid-40s.

Humid conditions will stick around, and with the moist environment morning, fog is also possible.

Slight rain chances will remain in our forecast through Thursday before a brief round of dry and quiet weather returns for Friday and the majority of our Saturday.

Another storm system is expected to arrive Saturday night, Sunday bringing more rain opportunities and colder temperatures for New Year's weekend.

And then a third weather system is expected to bring more rain showers again at the start of our work week.
