More freezing temperatures to start the weekend with warmer days on the way

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY-TV) - As we go into our Friday night we will gradually clear out with our sky conditions and winds will be lighter than what we experienced this afternoon.

A Freeze Warning will go into effect at midnight tonight until 9 a.m. (MST) Saturday for portions of Yuma county for overnight lows dropping into the low 30s.

Even though the whole Desert Southwest isn't included in the Freeze Warning, it will be still cold all across the area.

Make sure to stay warm and check on our 4 P's: People, Pets, Plants, and Pipes.

Looking ahead to the weekend, we will increase with more clouds for Saturday before seeing clearer skies at the start of our work week.

Winds will be breezy with possible gusts reaching 20 MPH with calmer winds by Sunday.

Temperatures will stay cooler for the season before a warming trend arrives later next week.
